Zach just got his driver's permit yesterday!!! After begging me to drive I finally gave in and let him get behind the wheel. I don't who was more nervous, him or me! He has driven in the neighborhood with Dave but today was his first time on the main roads. He did great! I am happy to say that I did great too!! I didn't scream! With Zach driving I feel really old! It seems like just yesterday I was his age asking my parents if I could drive the old blue Datsun! Time flies!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe he is that old! Time really does fly by!
The first new driver in the family is always the scariest. Heck, by the 6th, it is no problem. Jaron is complaining that he still has 2 months to go before he gets his "real" drivers license. He has been driving with the permit since ending Drivers Training in January.
Oh Cindy, just think about how nice its going to be when he can drive on his own, and take the kids where they need to go, instead of you having to!!!! That is the real positive thing here. But I'm sorry you have to be tormented by the scariness of the first dozen driving lessons with you! :)
This is one good thing about being the youngest, I get to watch all you guys go through the "fun" parts of life, and then you get to tell me how to do it when its my turn!
