Caleb and Jacob finished their football seasons this last week. Zach still has two more games in his season. The boys have had so much fun playing football this year. I think they could play all year round if they had the chance!
Caleb was #12 and plays running back. He had lots of great catches and runs! I will have to post later on the teams win/loss stats because I can't remember them right now. But I am so proud of Caleb. He really was a great leader for his team. He was to every practice and did his very best!
Jacob was #45 and plays fullback. He is such a tough player. He loves to play defense but does a great job on offense. Zach and Caleb nick-named him "Moses" because he always made a path for his teammates to get through. His team went 7-1 this year. Getting 3rd place in their division. The last video shows Jacob's last touchdown run. I wish everyone could have been there to see this! He ran 63 yards! It was awesome!!
I am so proud of all my kids for their dedication. I know they love to play sports but it really does take time and effort to do their best and keep up with their school work. I am a very lucky mom to have such great kids!

Halloween Party 2008

We had our annual Halloween party Friday night and what a blast! In the 18 years that Dave and I have been married we have had a Halloween party every year except last year. We try to invite different people each year so that we get to know new people. Dave was a jailbird and I was a pirate. The costume that got the most votes was the 50's dude. The hair was great and the jeans were even better! We had such a great time!

Weekend Get-Away

A great shot of the ocean. We went looking for the lighthouse at Cape Dissapointment and sorry to say we were dissapointed because we couldn't find the lighthouse!

Dave and I in downtown Portland.

Meeting up with our great friends Jeff and Shuana! We had a great dinner and played cards late into the night! Brings back great memories!

Dave with his GQ look at Long Beach. There were lots of great kites and notice the weather! It was the perfect day!!!

Dave actually talked me into riding horses on the beach! I was nervous but luckily the horses had made the trip a few times so I just sat back and enjoyed the ride and scenery. A very romantic thing to do with the one you love! (I am talking about Dave, not the horse!)

Happy Birthday Zach!
My oldest child is 16 today. I remember the day he was born and the excitement of having our first child. I went into the hospital at about 12:30 am with contractions I remember feeling nervous not knowing how bad this was going to hurt. But with Zach I was able to have drugs so the delivery was not bad at all! I remember when he was born the doctor had to peel back Zach's ears (kindof like the Dumbo movie) and he kindof looked like a cute little monkey. I say this with all the love in the world! Zach is such a great kid with so much energy and enthusiasm for life! He has always been such a great big brother and I think in a way he got overlooked quite a bit because all of his siblings came into the world so fast after him. He had to grow up pretty fast and was always my helper. I have loved seeing him mature and I am so proud of the man he is becoming. He is a great example to his friends and is never afraid to share his beliefs with others. I am so lucky to be his mom and I know I don't say this enough to him but I love him so much! Happy Birthday Zach!
