Snow and more snow and more snow....

We came home to a winter wonderland! This is the most snow I have seen in a long time! Before we left to come to Boise, there was a good 3 feet of snow. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't 4 to 5 feet of snow now in my yard! It is crazy!! It snowed another 6 inches just today and the weather is suppose to be like this for the next 2 weeks! It is so pretty to look at from the windows but I hate to drive anywhere in this!

...and more snow!

Christmas in Boise

We traveled to Boise this year for Christmas. There really is no place like home for the Holidays. We had a great time spending time with our family. We had our Christmas Eve dinner at Eric and Tracey's house and I was amazed at how our family has grown! There was so many of us! We listened to the story of the first Christmas and the little kids were part of the nativity and they were so cute! Later that night, Grandma and Grandpa started "Its a Wonderful Life" and we all watched. What a great movie! Christmas Day was quiet and great! Santa brought a Wii and so that is pretty much what we did all day! We even got g-ma and g-pa too do some bowling! We planned on coming home Saturday but the weather didn't cooperate too much. The roads ended up being closed due to snow so we stayed one more day! We made it home safe on Sunday and although it is good to be back home, I already miss everyone!

Holy Snow!!

We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland! It snowed over 12 inches over night! School is cancelled and most of the town is snowed in! I have never seen this much snow fall at once! I thought maybe last year was going to be the worst but I guess not!!! It is still snowing like crazy! It looks really pretty but I am really wishing I would have finished my Christmas shopping because driving around in the snow is not my idea of fun!

My new nephew Landon!

I was able to go to Boise for the weekend and see my new nephew, Landon. Isn't he so cute?! It was so good to see everyone and spend time with Valerie. Gavin was bought off with a nerf gun so he likes me now. MacKenzie and I had fun figuring out how to play with her Webkinz. We had a great time! I really didn't want to leave.
It helped to know I would be back at Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving holiday! James, Julie and Jaron came from Boise to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us. It is always great to have family around! We also had our adopted family, the Jarvis's come to dinner. (I wasn't very good at taking pictures so I didn't get everyone!) Everything tasted great! Dave tried a new marinade for the turkey and it was really good! He has been watching the Food Network! We ate, played games and enjoyed each others company and then ate some more! We really are blessed to have great family and friends to share the holidays with!
