Winter Blues

I know that I posted in a while. I am starting to feel the winter blues set in and we are only in January! Although my last post said we are melting, we still have snow everywhere. It isn't even pretty anymore. It is just brown and black yuckies everywhere!! We have been blessed to see the sun quite a bit this week and that is so nice but I think I am ready for flowers and green grass and temps higher than 32 degrees!

We are Melting!

Things have gotten back to somewhat normal around here, The kids are back in school and the weather has been warmer so the snow is melting. I was just so happy to be able to see the pavement again! There are still huge burms of snow around. The roads where we usually have 3 lanes of traffic are only 2 lanes because of all the snow. I honestly don't know what the flooding status is around here. I haven't watched the news for the past couple of days. I know that the stores have very limited supplies because the trucks haven't been able to come from the west side of our state. It shows me how important it might be to get our food storage in check! I am not able to post any pictures due to the fact that I may have lost all of my files. The hard drive crashed!! I am still hopeful that we can retrive our pictures and music! So here is my little bit of advice...Go right now and make sure you have saved your files!!

Snow Days!

We have yet to go back to school here. The snow is keeping the schools closed for now. The kids really aren't too excited about having the time off because like last year, they will probably have to make up these days in June. There is suppose to be an end in sight. A warming trend that will now melt everything too fast and cause a bunch of flooding! Isn't the weather so fun?!
