Pinewood Derby!

Here is Jacob with his pinewood derby car. Looks pretty cool huh?! The car looks great but didn't race too well. It actually came in last every time. Kind of sad but what can you do? The important thing is that Jacob had a great time making the car and even had fun racing.

Where are the Easter Baskets?

I could not find the baskets to give to the easter bunny to fill this year. So with all the resources that the Easter bunny has he used the wonderful invention of Ziploc bags!! The kids did get 4 plastic eggs filled with candy but the rest was in snack size ziplocs and put together in the gallon size. Happy Easter!!!

Tribute to the Best Dad in the World!

Dave is the best dad and husband! He has done so much to help the kids! Kelsie needed her hair straightened for the Saturday Night dance and Dave totally helped her!! This is not an easy task because Kelsie has the longest and thickest hair ever!!

It is Pinewood Derby time around here. Dave and Jacob have been working all week to get ready. They sanded and polished those axles till they shined!! The race is this Tuesday and I will have the results on Wednesday!

Dave has been there every step of the way as Zach has worked to get his Eagle project finished. Zach finished writing up his paperwork and it has been handed in!! Now we get to wait for a date with the Board of Review! So Close!!!!

Spring or Snow?

O.k. So this is what I woke up to this morning. SNOW!!!!!! Isn't it Spring yet? There is seriously about 1 inch of snow on the ground and it looks like a blizzard outside! I am not having fun with the weather here in Spokane!

Brace Faces

Zach and Kelsie both have braces now!!! Zach has about 4 months till he gets his off and Kelsie just got hers on in January.
