Brownies are not my friend!
I do have to tell of a great story that happened last week. I was baking brownies for a YM/YW combined activity and tried to put too much batter into one pan. Needless to say... I had brownie batter everywhere!! I was trying to scoop the batter off the bottom of the stove but I couldn't keep up and next thing I know the stove is on fire and the smoke detectors are blaring!!! I was one of the only people bringing brownies to this activity (so I thought) and tried to problem solve. I didn't have time or anymore brownie mix to start over so I cleaned the oven as best as possible and put the brownies back into the oven. They didn't overflow anymore but took FOREVER to finish baking. They looked horrendous!! Luckily others brought brownies so mine weren't needed after all! The great ending to this story... My husband came home to this tornado of brownie mess. I hadn't even had time to warn him. But when the kids and I got home he had cleaned EVERYTHING!!! He was my hero and I can't even tell you how much that meant to me!! Thanks Honey!!

Kind of annoying that you didn't know that others were bringing brownies too, that could have saved that headache of a day trying to get them all baked....
As i read that story, even though I knew what was going to happen, I could still picture it.....and sorry to say I had a slight smile/smirk on my face! :)
and as for stacey being green with envy, she had just called and told me about a purse she got for super cheap (a cute white one, something I have wanted for awhile) then justin called me to tell me the news, so of course I had to call her back with my news just to run it in a little. We are horrible when it comes to being jealous of each other....maybe someday that will stop.
um, it's called a bigger pan ninny. do you bake much?
Oh no! I hate when things like that happen. Kudos to Dave for cleaning it up for you. That is awesome.
