Blog Slacker

I am marked as the Blog slacker for the year! I need to keep posting even if not much is happenening around here. It seems like I just try to survive these winter months! Everyone has been doing really good. The kids are plugging along in school. I am always glad to hear through their prayers that they are thankful to be able to go and learn each day. I think many take that blessing for granted. Dave has been traveling quite a bit lately. But we are thankful for a job in these crazy times! The snow is still here and it seems strange that it is almost March. I am jealous of all those who have flowers budding and birds singing! Someday.... I keep telling myself! I have a new calling at church which has put me upside down for a minute! I am in the Young Women's organization (1st counselor) This is actually the first time I have been in YW. I am loving it! I am learning and growing each day! I think I am most relieved to not be teaching gospel doctrine anymore! That was a very scary calling. Yet, as I look back I have never learned so much about life and about myself as I did teaching that class.
