Surprise!

It was my dad's birthday on Friday March 28th and for his birthday I thought it would be fun to surprise him by coming to visit. My mom and dad usually leave town for his birthday but this year they stayed home. My mom told my dad that all the kids were going to come over later in the day for cake and ice cream. This gave us the perfect plan for surprise. As usual, every one came in droves to the house and congregated in the living room. Stacey's twins had grandpa distracted with gifts they had made him...in the meantime all of my kids and I came walking in the front door and yelled,"Happy Birthday!" It took him a minute to figure out who it was that said those words but then as he realized who it was his jaw dropped and our surprise was a success! I did not plan ahead to have pictures taken of this which makes me very sad but I will always remember the look on his face! Priceless!!!
