Our stake has a pioneer trek every four years and this year Zach, Kelsie, and Caleb were all old enough to attend. (Jacob will get to go next time) They woke up early in the morning of July 22nd and went to the church to meet their "ma and pa's" and their family for the next two days. It is always such a neat sight to see everyone dressed in pioneer outfits and looking "the part". They drove off in buses to their trekking sight. (Fruitland,WA) Dave was helping behind the scenes toting water around for them so he was able to keep an eye on them but I didn't see them until they came back on the 24th. All the families of the kids were there to greet them. They looked so good! Dirty but good. Each one of my kids had a different experience. They all had a great time! Caleb has already figured out that he could be a trail boss on next trek!

The "Before" picture

Seeing the wagons come into the "valley"

They were SO dirty but I was so proud of each of them! The bishop and his wife are pictured with my family.

Oh I love these pictures! They look so pioneerish :)
I have never experienced going on a Trek, but have heard nothing but positive experiences! How wonderful for all three of them to go together.
I would vote to be the water girl if I was asked to go.... he he
