"O" So Amazing!!!

So I am finally getting to sharing our trip to Las Vegas. We had a great time. I forgot the camera in the hotel so I didn't get very many pictures. So the memories will have to live in my mind. Las Vegas is a very busy and crazy place. I don't know if we will be going there for our next family vacation, but it was good to get away and enjoy the warmer weather! (65 degrees and beautiful!) Dave and I spent Friday night at the Las Vegas Temple. What a beautiful place! I know leave it to me to go to Vegas and spend the first night at the temple. But that is actually where I felt the most comfortable. The next day we went on a "road trip". Dave got directions to Hoover Dam which was only a 45 minute drive from where we were at. After about 1 1/2 hours and no signs or anything we figured out we went the wrong way. We were half way to Los Angelas! We did see some great desert and catus and we stopped at some Outlet mall for some shopping! Saturday night we went to the show "O" which was playing at the Bellagio. This was an amazing show and I encourage everyone to see it!! This is the show that they have made the stage into a water! We splurged and got really good seats and I am so glad we did! Sunday we attempted again to go to Hoover Dam. This time we knew where to go and amazingly there were signs all over the place telling us how much farther to the Dam. I am so glad to say I have now been to Las Vegas. I am amazed at the huge hotels and all the people that come! I could do without the smoking and the gambling and the guys on the street with the stupid cards but I guess that is what makes people come to Vegas. I wish I could go to more shows and see more of the sights around Las Vegas! I was happy to spend time with Dave and I am so glad I didn't have to worry about my kids! Thanks mom and dad!!!

The getting lost story is kind of funny.
"0" is totally amazing!
Sounds like you had a great time!

Did you see the conservatory at the Belagio? I am curious what the theme of it was. That is always one of the highlights of Vegas. (at least for me)
